Switzerland is a big little paradise. And in this paradise there are soo many little paradises to discover that it is difficult for travelers to decide how to plan their trip. I would like to recommend this place to you. If you go by car or train to the Lauterbrunnen valley, you will inevitably pass Wilderswil. There you will find the Schynige Platte Bahn, which takes you up to the Schynige Platte in 50 minutes.
If you are not a fan of crowded trains, I advise you to take one of the last trains and then stay at the Hotel Schynige Platte. It is a traditional hotel, which is decorated with a thousand little things from past times. This simply gives this hotel a unique charm. It is not for nothing that the slogan is: Spend the night like in grandmother's time!
If you want to continue hiking from here the next morning, you could do the panoramic trail Schynige Platte - First, for example. I have the unfortunately not yet made, but have heard that this must be a beautiful hike with constant views of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau! Stands with me at the top of the list!
If you just want a good time, you can also visit the Alpine Garden! For those who want a bit more foresight, hike about 20 minutes to the viewpoint DAUBE, from where you have a breathtaking view!
By the way, new in the offer is also a HOT POT! And honestly - there are not many hot pots with such a view! So who still wants to chill a bit alpine - should take advantage of this offer!
To sum it up briefly. As soon as you get on the train, you are whisked away into another world. By the way, dogs are welcome here, even if the house dog LUDWIG sees this a little differently:-)

If you want to avoid the crowds, take one of the last trains up and stay overnight at the hotel
