Highlight No. 1 - Panorama hike Schynige Platte - Grindelwald First
One of my highlights was certainly the hike from Schynige Platte to Grindelwald First. We stayed overnight at the Hotel Schynige Platte and started hiking before sunrise. It was simply the absolute hammer! The panorama of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau is simply breathtaking and at times you have the feeling to hike in Canada. We divided the hike into two parts and spent the night on the Faulhorn. Then we started early again down to Bachalpsee and then to Grindelwald First. Highlight No. 2 - Tell Trail Stages 6 & 7
Another highlight was probably the Tell Trail. There we mastered the stages 6 & 7. These are equipped with various lakes - simply gorgeous! We started our stages from Engelberg and then landed at some point back in Lungern. It was not without effort and with a dog it had one or two sections that were not quite without. But we made it! Highlight No. 3 - Obersteinberg mountain inn
A special hiking highlight was probably the hike up to the Obersteinberg mountain inn. The season was still young and my condition left much to be desired. Nevertheless, we have mastered the more than 900 meters in altitude and could enjoy the view from up there! Who wants to learn more - here is the blog post about it.
Furthermore, we were once again in the Alpstein. The spring hikes are simply one of the most beautiful things you can do! However, it is advisable to book the tour with the hotels as early as possible - the overnight accommodations are very much in demand!
I could go on writing for hours. The fact is - Switzerland is a beautiful natural paradise. And I'm already looking forward to perfect hiking moments in 2022! Who would like to come with us by the way - we offer private photo tours!
